J. H. Lowe Co. now is stocking Lucite rod in two colors 4.5" by 1" round pre-drilled for a draft hole. The colors are Black and Medium Brown (coffee and cream) swirl. Use these for stem making or decorative extension work. The cost is $6.50 each and you can find these on the Rod page.

J. H. Lowe Co. has a solid Black and a light brown Pearlized Lucite model # SP OV SD in stock that is an oval saddle. It has no fish tail but can be cut in the wide thin bite. It's measurements are 25/32" x 1/2" x 2-3/4". It would be great for pipe repairs on oval shank replacements such as Woodstock, Lumberman and Lovat pipes. The color is highly contrasting and great for Light to Dark repaired pipes and for pipe making on the same. The cost is for the low price of $2.30 per stem.  Get as many as you want until there gone. Sorry this is the only colors available. The stem comes without a pre-cut tenon. The shoulder of the saddle area is extended past where the tenon would normally be cut. I can pre-cut a tenon for you or you can use this extra long shoulder to make it very versatile for unusual pipe repairs or for pipe making. It's made by a famous Stem Maker in Italy.
