Prices for Pipe stems & Pipe Stem Repairs will be going up before the end of the year. New higher prices from the stem manufacturers will force me to raise my stem costs and thus new charges for pipe stem replacements. I have not raised stem replacement prices since I bought JH Lowe 6 years ago. Thank you for all your business over the years. Bamboo is again in Stock with a 4th size Extra Large Jumbo diameter. This order is from China and is very Natural. The root nodes have not been sanded so you can finish the look as you want. These are very Blonde with no artificial staining or burning.

Jh Lowe now has Bees Wax by the 2 oz. biscuit. It's listed on the Finishing page, right after carnauba wax. It's great for making a tenon not squeak and run smooth. Use it on your meerschaum pipe for a wax finish. Look it up Bees Wax works great for pipes.

J H Lowe now has in stock a solid Black and a Pearlized Brown Lucite Rod for making your own mouth pieces. These are Pre-drilled with a draft hole to make the job much easier. All you need to do is shape the rod into a hand cut stem. Check out the Rod Page.

Calabash Meerschaum Bowls (cups) for replacement of in Calabash Gourd Pipes are now available from J. H. Lowe. The Calabash Bowls are made in Turkey from high quality Turkish meerschaum. The bowls are cut to fit into Pioneer Calabash Gourd Pipes. Some shaping or fitting may need to be done to make a proper fit in other makes of Calabash Pipes.
